Computerized Testing
This exam requires a double application. The candidates need to file an Illinois Application (See below) with CTS and also register with the NCLEX Provider Pearson Vue. The Pearson Vue candidate Service line is : (866) 496-2539. The Pearson Vue fee is $200.00.
All candidates must provide proof of education using the Illinois ED-NUR Form as well as an Original Fingerprint Receipt.
If you hold a license in another state,DO NOT apply through this method. Apply through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
All retake candidates must wait until receipt of their official grade letter before reapplying. Any applications received before that date will be treated as correspondence only.
NOTICE:
Pusuant to Public Act 95-0639 which became effective October 5, 2007, you are prohibited from practicing until such time as you have completed and passed the Department approved licensure examination and are in receipt of official notification.
Your pass letter will direct you as to your ability to practice license-pending.
You may begin practice without direct supervision as a (RN or LPN) ONLY UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR LICENSE.>.
NOTE ALL APPLICATIONS ARE VALID FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS. YOU MUST COMPLETE A FULL APPLICATION WITH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION UPON APPLICATION EXPIRATION!
