Please read the following instructions before applying online for examination.
The Professional Engineer Examination is offered twice a year in April and October.
If you are applying for the Fundamentals of Engineering only as an undergraduate
in their senior year, you must apply as an 061 Engineer Intern, not an 062
Professional Engineer.
Beginning with the October 2010 examination, all applicants must also
register with NCEES in order to obtain a NCEES ID, TO SELECT AN EXAMINATION SITE AND TO SELECT AN EXAM DISCIPLINE.
EXAM DISCIPLINES CANNOT BE CHANGED AFTER THE EXAM DEADLINE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
All applicants must provide this information to Continental Testing Services
when applying.
If you do not register with Continental Testing Services to schedule your examination and with NCEES in order to obtain information, you WILL NOT be
scheduled for examination.
No applicant will be allowed to register after the deadline for any reason.
All fees are subject to change based on NCEES Board Examination expense.
All applicants must submit the required supporting documentation to
our office in order to be approved for examination.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure that the supporting documents are
received in our office. Status is available on our home page under “Get Your
Application Status and Grades.” Your entity is IDFPR and your profession is 062
Professional Engineer.
Failure to follow all of the examination instructions will result in your
not being scheduled for examination.
