Clinical Psychologist
Applicants are required to apply to the Illinois Department of
Financial and Professional Regulation prior to scheduling an examination with
Continental Testing Services. The IDFPR application is available at
www.idfpr.com . Please select the Agency Link,
Professional Regulation; select your profession, Psychologist Clinical;
select the written examination and download the application for the
Psychologist Clinical examination. Please submit the application to IDFPR
with the requested documentation in order to be approved for examination.
Once you have been approved by IDFPR you can apply to schedule an
examination with CTS using the online application process listed below.
You need to complete the Continental Testing Application following the application procedure described below.Since this is a dual application process, you must apply to the ASPPB through Professional Examinations Services (PES) at http://www.asppb.org/students/default.aspx
Upon your approval by CTS, PES will send you a
Approval to Test (ATT) Letter.
This ATT Eligibility lasts for 60 days only. You must take the examination within those 60 days or reapply with a new fees.
