Land Surveyor in Training
IF FIRST TIME CANDIDATE: Please read the following instructions before applying online for examination.
The Fundamentals of Land Surveying Examination is offered twice a year in April and October. Applicants are required to apply to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to scheduling the examination with Continental Testing Services. The IDFPR application is available at www.idfpr.com. Please select the Agency Link, Professional Regulation; select your profession, Land Surveyor in Training; select the written examination and download the application for the Land Surveyor in Training exam. Please submit the application to IDFPR with the requested documentation in order to be approved for examination. Once you have been approved by IDFPR you can apply to schedule examination using the online application process listed below. The dates listed below are the Continental Testing Services Examination dates and Deadlines. Please note that IDFPR does have their own application deadline dates.
All fees are subject to change based on NCESS Board Examination expense.
